  • 4 slices of bread, cubed
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C

Toast the breakfast sausage in a pan over medium-low heat until it turns brown and breaks up

Remove any extra grease and set it aside

You will need to whisk the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, sage, and parsley together in a large bowl

Break up the cooked sausage into small pieces and add them to the egg mixture along with the diced bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms

To mix everything, stir it all together

Put some cooking spray on a 9x13-inch baking dish, then pour the egg mix into it

The casserole should be baked in a hot oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until it is set and the top is golden brown

Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes before you serve it

Cut your Christmas Morning Casserole into pieces, serve it, and enjoy
